Bobcats has the defence and the athleticism to really give Orlando a hard time but i think Magic will pull it off with a tough series VC gets his RIINNNG this yearrr!!!
Kind of funny/tragic that the Bobcats are paying their four centers roughly $26M yet none of them have a snowball's chance of even remotely slowing down Dwight Howard. That said, the Bobcats might steal one but don't expect this series to be close.
I would not want to play the Bobcats in the first round. Captain Jack has experience in these kind of upsets so you better hope he doesn't get hot. Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton are the PERFECT playoff style bruisers, and watch Tyrus and Chandler make a HUGE difference off the bench. Tyrus is the PERFECT man to send for a Dwight double down... The Magic shoot way to many 3's for my taste as well. It will go 6 games, maybe 7... :grin:
I see this series going in 6. Larry Brown is a HOF coach that knows how to put a game plan together. If the Bobcats can keep in the 80-point-range, they'll get two games.
It's up to the Magic. If they play well, the Bobcats can't hang with them. I can see the Magic giving up one or two games.
All I know is that the magic or hawks are taking lebron out this year. The magc are just too good. Say what u want about them struggling against the cabs without lebron. But even svg said that all the team felt demotivated and that they didn't even want to go out when they found out lebron wasn't playing. The magic or lakers are taking it again this year Mark my words
Vince Carter is going to have a hard time. You know Larry Brown has his team ready with the hard fouls as soon as Carter tries to take it to the rim. Going by history this means Carter will turn into a jump shooter by game 2, the Bobcats have 2 guys that can defend him well from the perimeter. I see a very difficult series for the Magic and especially for Vince Carter.
Bobcats are pretty good against the better teams in the league, and they are ranked number 1 in defensive efficiency. They got tough, exciting and good defending wings in Captain Jack and Crash Wallace. Also a few shot blockers, and of solid bench of Augustin who has been clutch, Hughes, Tyrus Thomas, and Tyson Chandler. That said they are more of a home team and Magic play solid at home themselves and are good on the road. Magic also has the better bench. Magic in 6.
This is going to be a physical series that goes 7 games IMO. Magic have superior talent that will prevail in the end but a very similar team to this years Bobcats was last years 76ers and they pushed the Magic to 6. Bobcats will steal at least 1 in Orlando. Captain Jack and Crash will show up big time. The Bobcats role players Felton, Diaw, Chandler, Thomas etc need to be consistent. Most vital thing for the Bobcats is their big men Chandler, Mohammed and Diop need to be physical with Howard and use their 18 fouls. Knote32 said Tyrus is the perfect guy to send as a double on Howard and I agree. Gotta be careful leaving Shard though.
