is it too early? I'm not sure about the rest of the leauge, but I'll post my predictions for the 2 divisions I follow. AFC WEST San Diego 9-7 Kansas City 6-10 oakland 5-11 Denver 4-12 AFC SOUTH Indy 12-4 Houston 10-6 Tennessee 8-8 Jacksonville 7-9
AFC - West - Chargers 11-5 South - Colts 12-4 East - Pats 12-4 North - Steelers 11-5 WC #1 - Ravens 11-5 WC #2......TEXANS 10-6 NFC - West - Cards 10-6 South - Saints 10-6 East - Eagles 12-4 North - Bears 10-6 WC #1 Vikings 10-6 WC #2 Giants 12-4
you aren't kidding. I'm sooo ready. I keep hitting the Texans and Cowboys websites listening to press conferences, reading about position battles and hoping that both teams can avoid those preseason injuries that linger throughout the season.
My only prediction is that Darrius Heyward-Bey will burn his man by a good 10 yards and then drop a sure touchdown.
I'm not a giant football fan, but I'll watch my Longhorns' games and Texans games. I also like to watch Arizona because I love the "Pass the ball every down; they'll never guess" strategy they used in the playoffs last year. That being said, I am so pumped simply for something to talk about on my weekly sports radio show. The middle of summer means the middle of baseball which means that little of consequence is going on. It really has been painful the past few weeks. I am an MLS fan, but I will only mention that once in a blue moon on the air. That having been said, I predict the Texans to even challenge in the division. From what I've gathered, Indianapolis could be poised to fall due to new personnel and I think Tennessee's 13-3 was a fluke. Jacksonville may as well not even exist. So, I say that the Texans go 10-6, thus snagging the wild card and losing any potential tie-breaker to Indianapolis.
co-sign i'm on board. seriously. why not us? why not now? in a league where the Cardinals play for the Super Bowl, the Texans can do it.
AFC - West - Chargers 12-4 South - Colts 11-5 East - Pats 12-4 North - Steelers 11-5 WC1 - Texans 10-6 WC2 - Buffalo 10-6 NFC - West - Cardinals 10-6 South - Saints 11-5 East - Giants 11-5 North - Vikings 10-6 WC1 - Falcons 10-6 WC2 - Cowboys 10-6 Super Bowl - Chargers over Giants I think this is gonna be a good year for me because I have split allegiance to the Chargers and Texans. I think this might be the Chargers year to win it all and the Texans are primed to make the playoffs for the first time. Can't wait to come home for Thanksgiving and watch the Texans whoop up on the Toothless on MNF.
Wilson is a safety. And Fred Bennett isn't exactly Petey Faggins. By October, Jacques Reeves and Dunta should be at full-force. Nothing to worry about at this point. I wouldn't go out and predict Super Bowl, but playoffs is definitely an expectation.
