10/12/09 preseason vs. Bucks -Predicts Aaron Brooks will make the All Star team (over Chris Paul or Derron Williams) -Calls Mbah-Moute foul on 3 point shot a "rookie error" and "welcome to the NBA" although Mbah-Moute is in his second year And we're through one quarter of his first preason game. Keep 'em coming!
Not a Clydism per say, but Worrell just said something to the effect of "We'll see you in Toronto... without Clyde Drexler!"
Did I hear him say Villanueva was still playing for the Bucks? Then Bill agreed with him! Maybe I heard him say he used to play for them, but that's not what it sounded like. It was near the beginning of the game if anyone DVR'd it. Pugs
Clyde Drexler is horrible as a broadcaster. I hate broadcasters who are in that position simply because they were great players. Just because you were a great player does not mean you'll be just as good of an announcer. In fact, I'm pretty sure it works the other way around.
Clyde is such a narcissist it's hilarious. When they showed the Ariza fall he was saying the defender wouldn't even try to take him down because he'd be so high.
Clyde did think Villanueva was still on the Bucks. Bill sounded sarcastic when he said "he won't be playing tonight" Good old Clyde
Bill: Chase Budinger is smoking hot tonight. Clyde: That's right bill. Bud is smoking. Smoking bud is what it's all about. Bill: You'd know. You played with Cliffy.
The following is a brief and mostly inaccurate recap of what I found to be the funniest thing Clyde has ever said. Clyde: The Bucks have some great big men out there, like Villanueva" Bill: I don't think he'll be playing tonight, Clyde. Clyde: Yep, you're right. It's only preseason. Heh heh heh. Bill: Oh, yeah. Totally.
Well, the dude can't act either. I saw him on some TV drama a couple of years ago, and he clubbed that baby seal, too. I don't recall the show but maybe someone else here does.
Clyde commits a serious broadcast gaffe here. Found this while searching YouTube. Hilarious stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoaMdc8qGho
