With the season among us soon, I figure I might as well pass the time by kicking the discussion off Without Further adieu, the San Francisco Giants have all of the following players available 1. Carlos Lee-solid LH bat with an expiring contract-not much is needed to land him for those wanting offense 2. Juan Rivera-has another year on his deal under 2 mil, solid talent, but an underachiever 3. Alex Gonzalez(the better one)-good ss, who has hit well in SF, cheap contract as well 4. Mike Lieberthal-to any contenders needing a veteran solid catcher, Mike is your man, I can help contract wise as well 5. Doug Davis-to those in need of a solid lefty pitcher, doug is cheap and signed longterm 6. Marlon Byrd-this kid has talent and power for a Cf, and if he doesnt work out, his contract comes off the books this year 7. Rafael Furcal-good 2b, top of the order guy, cheap expiring contract Prospects wise, not much avail, but possibly Barnaby and my new G-F-A 23 yr old Lf I'm not looking for much in return for these guys, decent prospects or solid cheap middle relief, or talented projects appeal to me. Enjoy.
DV, I could give you a Scotty Layfield(AAA) or a Darrel Comerford(Ready for AAA) for Lieberthal. And to all other owners, solid 1B E.Durazo is available. SP J.Rauch is also available to some extent. I'd definitely want hitting prospects in any deal. And for anyone that has a very good #1 or #2 starter they feel they can or need to trade for whatever reason, let me know and I'm sure I could make a nice offer if I like the pitcher.
Cub Players Available ----------------------------- Jason Kendall Ben Davis Tony Clark Ray Durham Roger Cedeno Sammy Sosa Jimmy Rollins Juan Echevarria Jeff Suppan Billy Wagner Amaury Telemaco Esteban Yan Antonio Alfonseca Jay Powell BlowJob I want prospects...
Looking to trade... SP J.Rauch - GAAB 29 yr old C J.Buck - AAA 27 yr old (never gotten much of chance in STL) 1B E.Durazo - AGG 33 yr old (expiring contract, coming off a solid season) What I want, specifically... A pretty good defensive OF (no less than B range and B arm) that can play RF. And at least a #2 quality SP, established player better than Rauch. The OF doesn't have to be a big power hitter.
Okay so, I guess I should do some trading. If you want your team infused with Pirate grit and cunning, it's maybe possible that that could happen. The best folks I'm willing to trade are probably 3B Aramis Ramirez and C J.R. House, as well as one of Arthur Simmons or Michael Bogard. Obviously other guys are available too. I am, naturally, looking for prospects, really anywhere, but if I had to give guidelines it would be "not pitching" and "not second basemen."
I have some relievers that are talented but haven't fully developed yet in the following: Horacio Rios Yong Graziano Mitchell Perez Luis Martinez Andre Delossantos All of them played at one time or another in the majors for me, but are all now in AAA. I also have Josh Hancock and Erick Threets for those of you who need SP help. I am wanting prospects in A only. Oh and I will go ahead and throw this out now since people like to ask me about Mr Real. The only way I would trade Real is if I got a good in hits and good in homers player that is young with a reasonable contract back to replace him and an absolute stud SP that is young and has a cheap contract like a Mike Jackson Jr. So, if you want to offer for him, don't waste my time or yours unless you have those 2 type of players that I described above.
Well with the offseason done I have a couple of players available: Code: B. Colon 33 SP Good Average Average Good B N. Bierbrodt 29 SP Good Fair Average Good C N. Cruz 35 MR Good Average Good Good C C. Zerbe 35 MR Average Good Good Average B A. Mcdill 36 MR Good Average Fair Brilliant D A prospect or two could also possibly be available. I'm pretty much set so I would pretty much only want prospects back.
Okay, now that I have Bartolo Colon, I am putting Ben Howard on the trading block. He came on strong for me last season...good in hits and strikeouts and only 29 with a contract worth only 2 million through 2010. I would like to package him along with Luis Martinez, good in hits MR that is in AAA for a position player prospect. Let me know if you are interested.
Okay my roster needs retooling, please place these guys on the trading block Ryan Klesko is available, he has a large contract that will expire this year, and he is still a good hitter in the game Carlos Silva, he is in AAA but has a rating of AAGAB Scott Sullivan, a good MR Wiki Gonzolez A decent catcher that is Good in hits and average everywhere else. Mark Kotsay Good in hits and strikeouts, plus he is brilliant in doubles. I need starting pitching and a better catcher

The following players are available. I'm looking for pitching help (starting or relief), but a first baseman or center fielder with some pop wouldn't be bad either. T. Hunter 32 CF Average Good Fair B C A D. Lee 32 1B Average Average Average D C C A. Hinch 33 C Average Good Average D E B J. Solis 23 3B Good Average Average D E A E. Tollberg 35 SP Average Good Good Average D I have a lot of cap, so I can take overpriced players that you need to dump. Let me know.
I have lots of bad players. I will trade all of my bad players, for even one decent player. This is a good deal because maybe a bad player will get a talent increase, "nomsayin"?
I've got several SP's in AAA that could probably be starting either this year or next, that I don't have much room for. J.Mundo 28 - AGGGG M.Jones 24- AAAGB M.Brown 25- GFFFG Along with solid ML players: Closer U.Urbina Catche J.Buck Also, BGM, since I couldn't email you through the BBS, please contact me at mboss03@hotmail.com for a trade possibility.
OK, firesale time. I knew I wasn't going to dominate, but I can't stand sucking this bad. If you want any good prospects, they are all available for good current players. Price is no object. R. Villarreal 23 1B Average Brilliant Brilliant C C D K. Tetsuyuki 19 LF Good Brilliant Average C B D K. Garcia 22 SP Good Good Good Good A (good in doubles) D. Desalvo 24 SP Good Brilliant Good Good A (good doubles) T. Steele 23 SP Good Good Average Good D M. Delcarmen 26 SP Good Good Good Average E My first round pick this year (I suck) is available too. The only condition to me trading is that it has to happen now. I have no patience to watch my team suck for longer. Email offers to me at SlamDuncan2121@aol.com. Thanks.
Vladimir Guerrero is available, but really only for another OF power hitter who is left handed, or a switch hitter.
Cat, I'm interested in Garcia and Desalvo. I have plenty of good "now" players that are all available, what do you want for them?
Either one is available, but I would prefer to trade Garcia, because Desalvo is a bit closer to being ready for the majors. Would something like Garcia for Zambrano + Rollins + Glowacki interest you? If so, let me know...
Cliff Floyd does indeed interest me. However, might you throw something else in with him for Vlad since Cliff is 3 years older and has a bigger contract?
