I was watching a variety of games today and thought to myself if the rockets don't win it this year, I would like celtics to win it. So my question is, if the rockets don't win it this year who would you like to see take it?

If not the Rockets, I'd root for an underdog.

Philly could be a nice story. Don't laugh, they are 18-5 in their last 23 games. If we can dream about the Rockets winning it all after their hot streak, why not the 76ers?

I want to see Spurs and Celtics so Cassell and Horry can go against each other. It would be awesome to see them trading 3's at the end of a Finals game.

I'd probably root for the Spurs because I am sick of Boston in general for all sports (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics).

I hope the Celtics make it to the finals, but I do not want them to win the championship. I could care less who comes out of the west, as long as it isn't the following teams: Mavs, Jazz, Hornets, Nuggets. Celtics don't deserve it this year. The Celtics is the definition of a bandwagon team. Everyone jumping on the bandwagon, including players(Posey, Cassell, Brown), fake Celtics fans coming out of the woodwork who've been MIA for 15 years. Not to mention the tank job they did end of last season. Sorry, a team like that doesn't deserve a chip first year out. I'll might root for them in 09-10, if they are still even together then.

I obviously want the rockets to come out of the west, but if they get bumped before the finals I'd like to see the Magic or 76'ers win.

If not H-town, then GS. They make watching basketball entertaining - if they are up by a crazy amount in the first half, they will choke away the lead making it a close game, if they are down by a crazy amount in the first half, they will make an amazing comeback making it a close game again.

If I must assume the Rockets are eliminated, there are 4 teams that I absolutely would refuse to 'root' for in the finals: Spurs, Mavs, Jazz, Celtics.

Outside of rooting against those teams, I would have to root for the biggest underdog much like I did for Golden State last year. 76ers could be fun to follow. Have to say I'd like to see the Suns avenge the injustice of last postseason.

After their performance last year, I would want to see the Warriors win it.

I generally don't like teams that are the beneficiary of unfair trades who instantaneously become a contender (except when it is the Rockets, of course :) ). So I don't want to see the Lakers or the Celtics win.

Other than that, I don't want to see Shaq win another ring again. So no Suns... sorry Nash, nothing against you.

If the Rockets got bumped, I'd root for the Warriors in the West. In the East, I hope either Orlando or Detroit wins.
