Let's have something to be happy about guys, i didn't see this posted anywhere, if it is, please lock Clutch.. I'll post the top 5 1) Al Horford 2) Kevin Durant 3) Luis Scola 4) Jamario Moon 5) Al Thornton http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/rookies/rankings Scola's #3!!!! Go Luis!!
i think landry was up there too.. 11 was it? brooks fell back.. but expected after his recent performance.
Horford, represent Gators! Glad to see Scola get some recognition. I'm betting Landry cracks the top 5 by the end of the season.
wow- whats more important than this.... hollinger's computer says 98.6% chance of making the playoffs, 3rd highest in the west... too bad his computer doesn't know what happened to yao
I was going to post about this. I think the most amazing thing about this top 50 is that the Rockets have three guys in the top 25 - none of which were taken in the top 25 picks. The Rockets did an amazing job bringing in these three guys. Hats off to the Rockets for the excellent scouting and drafting - and hats off to Adelman for bringing these guys along.
uh. you mean . . . besides the team treating us all to yet another second half surge? just two days ago this board was as giddy as i have ever seen it. just because yao got injured it does not take away from the happiness we all felt at their success, at the chemistry, at the potential of this group. so yao got injured. it happens. if tracy hadn't gotten injured i think this team may not have turned it around this season.
Oh... I have no idea what I was thinking.... Oops. It is crazy how all of our rookies are old. Morey must have figured out teams over-value youth.
From David Thorpe: [rquoter] • Luis Scola's consistent production is an important part of the Rockets' success. Chuck Hayes, who used to be the Rockets' starting 4, is a glue guy with no offense, while Scola is just as "gluey" and is a capable scorer. He can play off of franchise guys or get his own shot when needed. • The Rockets have the luxury of playing Carl Landry behind Scola, making Houston strong at the power forward position. Landry could start for some teams right now and is going to be a relative force in this league. Amazingly, at 24 years of age, he's not even the oldest rookie on the team (Scola turns 28 in April).[/rquoter]
