So did anyone see the finals of the OW GP? I can't believe how brutal both of Mirko's wins were. He completely dismantled Silva and disfigured his face. His left high kick is the most dangerous weapon in MMA. I would love to see him fight Tim Sylvia just to expose the weakness of the UFC HW division and to see him break a couple of Tim's ribs in the process. Then against Barnett in the finals he was just as brutal. I almost wonder if he broke Josh's eye socket because he pounded his right eye until it was almost a swollen as Wanderlei's. I also enjoyed watching Aleksander taking out Khar. I have always thought Sergei was overrated, and now he is a long way away from a title shot against Fedor. After seeing these fights I can't be more pumped to watch a Fedor vs. Cro Cop 2. It should be a great fight although I just can't ever see anyone beating Fedor. If there is anyone who can do it I would have to say Cro Cop will have to be the one. This also just goes to show how horribly weak the UFC HW division is. The three true HW's that were in the GP and Aleks could beat Tim. I think Mark Hunt could have a good shot too. The UFC MUST get some of these great HW's from PRIDE.

Crocop fedor Gomi are my fave fighters from pride. three baddass mofos i wouldnt mind having my back in a bar brawl. i wonder if anyone would try and start shyt with Gomi just cause he looks so non threatening and some redneck thinks he is just some Japanese anime geek?
Pride has some great heavyweights, but Pride has left a bad sour taste in my mouth by not sending over Silva to fight Liddell. UFC sent Liddell over to PRIDE, PRIDE should do the same.
I completely agree, but as Dana White put it the Japanese are hard to negotiate with. Hopefully this fight can still happen at some point. But if it does you can put money that Chuck will KO him. Although it won't be very soon because Silva is going to need to take some time off to recover from the broken face he got from Cro Cop. Damn I still can't believe how messed up Silva looked.
