Worst of all-time? I don't know but wasn't a very good draft. Still bugs me to this day about the Bulls swapping Aldridge and Thomas. Terrible terrible terrible.
Should be something like: 1. Brandon Roy (if he was still at 100%) 2. LaMarcus Aldridge 3. Rajon Rondo 4. Rudy Gay 5. Andrea Bargnani 6. Kyle Lowry Rest of the list is pretty mediocre.
Jamal Crawford, Hedo Turgkoglu, Micheal Redd, Quentin Richardson, Eddie House, Joel przybilla, DeShawn Stevenson, Morris Peterson and Keyon Dooling were all decent players that also were in that draft. Overall terrible draft though.
im gonna cry over some spilled milk here once again. it is literally the worst draft of all time in the history of the nba ever since the draft system was introduced ever since the lottery was implemented for the houston rockets. we traded rudy gay for a scrub, forever ending any hope of making serious championship contention for the t-mac yao era. no move of the front office of the rockets has ever bugged me as much as that trade has.
and yeah. 2000 is the worst draft of all time. 2006 is one of my personal favourite drafts, having lamarcus aldridge, brandon roy, rudy gay, rajon rondo, and andrea bargnani and paul millsap. far from a bad draft.
i blame this on the minorities, whites and euros. Y u all no good at basketball? Seems like all nba drafts are like this. Just two franchise players in one of them..if you're lucky.
If these guys were lottery picks - then its gotta come close. Adam Morrison Shelden Williams Tyrus Thomas Patrick Obryant Mohamed Sene Hiton Armstrong Cedric Simmons That draft was full of Hasheem Thabeets.
1973, 2000 are the winners. 1986 Draft - the first round had like all-star gathering of NBA busts. 1976 Draft - Excluding Adrian Dantley and Robert Parrish would make it the worst 1st Round draft ever.
