how much $$$ is going off the books after this season? bags 18mill clemens pettite ??? we should be able to aquire some quality FA's maybe an allstar/superstar caliber pitcher? imo, we should have traded jason lane a long time ago. Our outfield is crowded and I'm afraid Tavaras will end up being traded (and he'll go on to hit 340 and steal 40 bases for someother team) pressing need is the bullpen, and then offense, and also 1 star caliber SP.
at least for me...way too early to think of all that. you realize we still have 1/2 a season and a playoff race, right?
