I thought this is what CD would do, I also feel that Mutombo is on his way also. With the additions we have added, this team has the make-up of the Kings when they brought everyone together after getting Webber via trade.

What makes this team so special is everyone on the team has something to prove, along with trying to get the NBA title like ....

Yao - continue to show he can be a great Center

T-Mac - prove everyone (including Magic management) he is a winner

J-Howard - finaly having a chance to start on a good team

JJ - being a leader, but will go hard every game

B-Sura - see JJ last year. This guy will bring energy

Everyone else will have to play hard to get in Van Gundy's "tight" rotation. Ulike last year's group, who felt they were untouchable, this year's group will show more heart and hussle. Besides, if not you can be sure they will be gone.

I definately feel that Sura could be this year's JJ surprise. Sura can do a lot of things and is an energy player.

Sura REALLY pushes the ball up court and does a good job with dribble penetration. I think he will really help open up the offense.

I also feel that with Sura's signing, the days of Pike on the roster are numbered!

Race has nothing to do with it. They play similar positions and Sura's skillset will allow him more courttime.

I was just being cute. Sura won't have to get a whole lot of courttime to overtake Pike -- pretty much ANY courttime will do it. Rumor has it that Pike is who's wanted for Mutombo anyway.

I cannot imagine anyone wanting Pike after seeing him last season.

It would be nice to have a better than average point guard, or Bobby Sura about 6 years ago. Sura is a shooting guard in a point guard body....
