Honda got it's tail thoroughly kicked by the Passat and the new Altima. This is it's revenge: Sucker has 250HP whenmated with a V6... gratuitous Charlies Angels 2 pic below:
The first pic looks like a Camry Solara and the second one looks like the current Camrys. I LIKE IT!!!
Sorry GB - I don't really like it... I don't care for the new styling, it is too much. I liked the old Accord better. Nice HP though. I would take the Passat for sure over this car and I would probably take the Altima over this car.
Im sorry, not to be biased, but my Altima looks 10X better than that ugly ass Honda: The new Accord looks like a freaking Ford Focus!!! I am not impressed. The back end looks like a Buick. Design and Style was never Honda's forte......... The Charlie's Angels girls? Well that is a different story......
I think the tail lights look horrendous. I like the mid 90s Honda Accord better. Maybe I just have to grow on it.
I think the tail lights on that Altima look like something off of beaterz.com. Initial impression of that new Accord: peh. I didn't and don't like the whatchacallit, "coupe" version that came out a few years ago, with the narrow tail lights. These: Don't like them. I think the new four-door model looks OK, but nothing special. I think the two-door looks like handmade ****.
bah...ill take my 2002 passat over that honda garbage anyday. on a side note...got my first speeding ticket coming home from the VW dealership after getting a tuneup...
On a side note for you performance freaks, the 2003 Honda Accord does 0-60 in 6.57 seconds... and damn, that's the AUTOMATIC SEDAN!! No telling what the coupe will do. Base price should be about $25k - $26k. Should be out in September....
Interesting... Motor Trend says it's 240. Either way, the Altima now has some competition... time for Toyota and VW to step up. Ain't competition grand?!
The motor on the base Accord is the old Acura Legend motor from the 86-90 years. Honda is just cheap..use old engines. The top of the line Accord..if you are going to buy that..just get a Acura TL or TLS.
