I've been in this league for two years now... and it can very well be the best league on the net when GMs are active. The scoring system, etc, is as good as any I've seen-- and its free. Of course this is a real fantasy league on stats, not simulation as the league I have in this forum will be. As a result games won't start until next November, but the draft will start this summer (6 rounds, all 29 teams in the NBA will be represented) and you need to be prepared. If you are active this league can be great-- and if we can get 10+ (at least) from CC.net it would be great. (Crisco and others from last year you need to join this list too) Anyway, the site last year was http://hoopsnjams.hypermart.net, but that has been taken down now as we were unable to finish the season due to a technical glitch with the scoring system that will be fixed over the summer. Nevertheless, the league will be back and better than ever next year, but with a new domain name. It's hard to attract business without something more than a hypermart address... You will find out the domain name, information, etc. if you join this group at Yahoo. This does not sign you up for the league-- all it does is get you on an information list and you can decide later on when you get info. The league starting on a fresh with new GMs or is there teams with traded rosters you take over. I think I could be interessted if we could get this to be a CC league, kinda like the sim we have going. Ah... I need sleep now. These will all be blank teams when you take over. You will control from start to finish if you join. There will be a six round player draft during the summer and/or before the season, and you will sign a 7th player. You'll have 5 starters count weekly, and 2 on your bench that you can alternate in as a starter if you see fit. Remember this is a fantasy league, not a sim, so its by their real life stats ONLY. There will be some other people from last year that aren't CC.net members-- but probably only 5-10 people. The other 20 or so spots are up for grabs as far as I know-- and with it first come first serve, we could grab them all and make it awesome.
