Warning: This is not for the faint of heart. The Shaun Livingston knee injury - dislocated his kneecap, tore his ACL, PCL, and lateral meniscus, and severely sprained his MCL - was painful on the eye. 20 Gruesome Sports Injuries
I'll never forget the Ed McCaffery injury. It was on Monday Night Football and I said to myself "that's the most disturbing thing i've ever seen on television." It happened on September 10, 2001.

This made me laugh. Sure, mister. Like a guy with an injured knee could WALK to the sideline, while a guy without a leg hurt can walk. STFU.
I've seen the videos of most of these, and the Shaun Livingston one is the only one I just had to turn my head away from.
I didn't make it through all of them. Too many limbs pointing in too many different and WRONG directions. ach my stomach.
The worst I've seen recently was Patrick Edwards against Marshall. The Marshall band left some carts on the field and Edwards ran into one full-speed, breaking his leg and flipping spectacularly. Pretty amazing that he appears to have recovered fully. He had a 100-yard game Saturday.
There was a guy that played for the Brewers, Jenkins I think, that broke his leg playing the Astros. I remember seeing it live and it was stomach turning. Also, I forget which NFL player it was, but in the 90s, there was a lineman that broke his neck and on the replay, you could see when he was falling backwards that all that was holding his head on was the spinal cord, neck muscles and skin.

for some reason the weight lifting ones make me cringe more than others. something about all that weight on your back/shoulders and your knees giving out makes me cringe
When LT acts that concerned, you know its serious. I think maybe because everyone has seen that play, is why it wasn't included.
