There's a very realistic way for Tennessee to get in too, especially if the Texans rest a few of our dinged-up starters. If Oakland wins the AFC West, the Titans only need to win themselves and have Cincy lose to Baltimore to make it in.

I'm just elated that we don't have to play the Ravens or Steelers right off the bat :)

Let's try to avoid the Jets judging from their recent playoff success.

Screw that, I'll take our defense against dirty sanchez.

Not anymore. That was only if the Patriots were a part of the 3-way tie, which can't happen now since they're 2 up on the Texans. The only possible 3-way tie now is between the Ravens, Steelers and Texans... and in that scenario, the Ravens-Steelers tie would be broken first (advantage Baltimore), and then they'd have the tiebreaker on us.

The Texans are locked into the No. 3 seed.

It's impossible now. We're locked in for 3rd seed.

I wonder how Kubiak approaches next week. He could rest some of our players.

On offense, TJ needs the reps and he needs his starters in the game, AJ included if he's ready. We risk injury but the way this season has gone, who cares. Maybe play AJ the way you would in a 3rd preseason game. The defensive starters can sit out, we know what they can do.

Good lord - the NFL is very likely to schedule a HOU/CIN match-up for, like, 8am Thursday.
