and not one single mention of the rockets.... unless it was during the 10 minutes or so that i missed. pretty ridiculous for the 4th best team (record-wise) in the league.
What a surprise, we've always been the underdog and overlooked for a while now. They just can't face the fact how wrong they are/were about us. None of them still have the balls to say how wrong they were about Yao.
Surprising considering the Rockets have actually been getting props from ESPN lately, They are #5 in this weeks power rankings, #3 in the daily ranks the other day. Thats OK, let em not talk now, they'll be talking about us come playoff time, after we take down the Mavs.

Its called like NBA Fastbreak or soemthing and it comes on before games on ESPN and in the middle of SportsCenter usually.
not a big deal the rockets were not playing tonight, at least what little i have seen of this show they usually focusing on the teams that have games that night and then whatever teams making "headline" news dont really care so much, i would rather prefer seeing the rockets games on espnHD rather than coverage on these shows. sucks was looking at the rest of the national schedule and it looks like there is gonna be like maybe 6-7 games max for the rockets in HD but then again there are playoffs
Not surprising....Rockets fan should be used to less or no national media attention. I think national media (espn, nba.com, etc.) will wait for Yao to come back to see where rockets go from there before they jump on the Rockets bandwagon! I know...I know I get pissed off too just like all the true Rockets fans who get mad for getting ignored all the time every season!!! thanks to ppl like steve kerr!
We as rockets fans shouldnt really worry about national media. We've always had an underdog mentality and it works the best that way instead of getting complacent. Id rather not be mentioned at all. Let them spooge all over the lakers. Our time will come when it really matters, when we win it all.
When they highlighted the best dunks of the month, they had a TMac reverse jam and the Head dunk over Turiaf back to back.
we have a better record than the east leading wizards, yet..they get ALL of the attention and Arenas is hail as a mvp and hero,,,etc,,,and yet t-mac don't get a ****

I agree. Last night on SportsCenter, not ONE mention of the Rockets, ESPN is like omg orgasm Kobe scored 43 in his return from suspension omgomgomg.
