1st time in history?

    Am I wrong or this is the first time in history that every playoffs team (in the west) had 50 or more wins?

    well at least i think golden state has the best record in the history of the nba to not make the playoffs...probly first 50 win team to not make the playoffs

    Warriors would have been the first 50 win team to not qualify for the playoffs if they met the requirement of winning 50 games.

    Then yes, this is the first time all 8 teams in a conference bracket had 50 wins. That's pretty incredible. It makes me want to look back at the season the Rockets won 45 and missed the playoffs to see how much parity there was that season.

    I'd point out that having everyone at 50+ gets easier as more teams are added to the league.

    It's the best record not to make the playoffs since they switched to the 16-team bracket. I don't remember the year, but an old Phoenix team went 49-33 in the early 70's I think without making it.
