Today on sportcenter Andy Katz reported that the top three draft picks are set.
    Wizards- Kwame Brown
    Clippers- Tyson Chandler

I'm so confident the Rockets will work out a deal with the Grizzlies. I'll even change my mock draft to the Grizzlies taking Pau Gasol and Rodney White.

If they pick two SFs then we know Rudy has one of them.

How are you so sure, are the other teams in the draft excluded from trading with the Grizzlies?

It makes the most sense. I'm not sure the Celtics would trade up because they really want Gasol and the Grizzlies are taking him at #3.

The Celtics are trading Kedrick Brown to the Blazers, so I think the Celtics will hang tight with the rest of their picks. I don't know, I could be wrong, but I think Rudy T will jump on the opportunity to get the 6th pick.

The Magic WON'T be an option because they totally screwed the Grizzlies already this offseason. That would seem like the only other option to me.

Don't the Griz have greater motivation to do something with Detroit and get out of their stranglehold for next year when the Griz host the draft and have NO first round pick (now obligated to the Pistons) much less a high one should things stay as they are now?

I believe by trading away Shareef, they won't have to worry about that obligation next year. Also, Dumars has said that he will not loosen the terms of the pick just for a 3 pick jump.

I think Richardson may be the man at #6 for the Grizz. I don't think they will trade it. But, we could get White at #7 by trading all 3 of our picks to New Jersey...sounds like it could happen.

Everyone else has vancouver picking JAson Richardson at pick number 6. Assuming the Rockets dont want him, as I don't, what could we entice Vancouver with for the number 3 pick, Gasol? Im not saying it wont happen, but at least offer youre view of how.
