I know this been discussed in other threads, but I'm still confused. Also, I know it should probably be posted in the draft forum, but I don't want it to be ignored. DO WE HAVE A FIRST-ROUND PICK? NBAdraft.net in their outstanding trades section says that the Rockets owe Utah a CONDITIONAL FUTURE 1st rounder. What are the conditions and how long do the Rockets have to fulfill this obligation?
If they don't tell you what the conditions are, they aren't that outstanding. I don't follow the stuff anymore, but I assume it is lotto-protected this year.
By "outstanding" I'm pretty sure they mean trades that haven't yet been completed, as opposed to meaning fantastic.
that is what it means. i don't think we will have to give it to them this year. we may have a couple of years before its unconditional.
