Man, that was GREAT!!! What a motley crew the libs have put forth this time around!! I don't know which was funnier:

    1) Hillary looking like a lesbo and trying to sound like a man by faking a deep voice
    2) Barack Obama tripping over his words and fumbling through answers. (oops, it's harder to speak on the fly than read prepared statements, huh?)
    3) Kucinich acting like a madman with a pocket Constitution and asking for votes on impeaching Cheney

WOW. Gonna be a fun race!!!!

I thought it was pretty uneventful. The format of debates lately is really restrictive, and I know that the candidates like it that way.

I guess if anyone was better than expected it was Biden. He had a plan for Iraq, and his "Yes" answer was pretty good.

I can't believe you have the balls to make fun of a candidate for fumbling through answers.

Did anyone call for the indictment or impeachment of Bush?

Kucinich has introduced a bill to impeach Cheney.

It might be wise to impeach Cheney first.

Looks like Kucinich is the best, but being practical I'm for Edwards at the moment. Hiliary is too much of a warmonger, but she is tough. I don't trust Obama somehow-- not sure why--perhaps not to be too cautious or to be tough enough against the fascistic elements of the Right.

    it was a decent debate

Jorge did hit some good points, but again, at least it's not Bush!

Biden did good, Kucinich looked like he was ready for the answeres....Obama looks like someone who does not have much political experience, I'll still vote for him, especially because of his middle name.

Hillary was Hillary, the guy from new mexico surprised me in a positive way, he was pretty good IMO...the Alaska guy was hillarious tho

When that candidate has risen to prominence because of his perceived oratory skills, it's a bigger blow to have the night Barack Obama had last night. For many, that was the first time they saw him give answers on the fly to tough questions, as opposed to reading prepared statements, like at the Democratic Convention in '04 or on tv spots or speaking tours...

When his strength was taken away last night, what are you left with? Oh yeah, an inexperienced politician who has no business on that stage.

What was Bush noted for? A powerful family?

I guess, TJ, you liked his interest in world affairs. Perhaps of similar depth as your own. Given his family's background,. it is telling that Bush II supposedly had left the country only twice in his life, and each time briefly, prior to running for president.

Both, I think. He's apparently 5'7" and she's close to a head taller.

Well you're right about one thing. He oversaw the most executions of any Governor in US history.

It was a disgrace when he ran for governor. Any fool can fail at business, which he had done frequently. That was the sum total of his experience prior to running for Texas.

He did score big when he got the government entity to put some money or was it build the stadium? ,whatever, for the Texas Rangers. He and Dick have proven to be masters at profitting from gtovernment. NOw tell me about markets or whatever.
