Now that Jordan Hill's career as a basketball player is basically over or at least devoid of any hope (partly as a result of a serious jinx that had apparently moved from his college teammate Chase Humdinger), lets begin a dedicated discussions of the many ways in which Jordan Hill is a failure at basketball so maybe the jinx can be reversed at least we can learn from our mistake in trading for Bad Rookie.

One big issue for me is that Jordan hair weighs more than his muscles but he's more than athletic enough and far more important seemst to be his inability to process spatial information and be at the right place at the right time. He seems fine on 1-on-1 post D when he know who he's supposed to cover and where he is, but he just seems lost about the team scheme. On offense, too, he has a decent J and even some post moves but it's getting to the spot within the offense to unlease these moves that's the problem.

Jordan Hill runs like a little girl playing midde school basketball. Chase runs and looks like an emu.

    Coincidence?

does this work for posters too?

Now that the career of CarlHerrera is offically over and the snarky threads laden with sexual innuendo and overblown sardonic whit are gone, what will people say of him?

I'm a little disappointed in Hill's progress too, but he's still so young. He has a lot to learn, but it's too early to call him a total bust imo.

He had a date with Budinger at Disneyland. That's the beginning of his and Bud's downfall.

I don't think the anti-jinx works unless DD starts it.

I also think we need a pre-emptive strike to make sure DD never ever start a thread on the awesomeness that is Patrick Patterson.

I didn't watch the game. I am more interested in knowing why P Tim Duncan Pat went 1 for 6? Is he even going to be a Timmy mini?

It's so obvious that he only started playing organized ball a few years ago. The guy's basketball IQ is smaller then Scola in crunch time.

He's completely out mentally, don't know why. In limbo. You can have all the conditions in the world (and he has), but he has no chances with that attitude. He's really an interesting mental case, nobody knows what he's thinking about when he's in the game.

Coaches must be desperated with this guy, as a coach you can't help a guy like him.

In the old days they'd maybe give him a slick nickname like "Never Nervous Pervis (Ellison)" or "Joe Barely Cares" or something to describe his laid back demeanor, both mockingly and in fun.

Now its elitist minds calling people dunces for not appearing smart and pointing out character flaws to render someone useless to society

Jordan Hill does not seem to get "it" though.

He always looks bored out there and doesn't hustle for rebounds enough. He lets his opponent back him up into the lane too much. I'd take Landry over him any day.

Playing out of position? Too much pressure and too much to learn too soon?

Remember the first few games he played for us last season when he was impressing us with his rebounding and defense at the rim. We were saying that guy's defensive instincts are good.

These days, there are many instances when his reflexes are not there. Maybe he's overthinking stuff. He needs to enjoy the game again--just play his game.

Haven't we gone over this before. Lazy eyes = poor work ethic. Please refer to the diagram below.
