who can tell me why this number is significant in Rox history? I know, I was just wondering if anybody else remembers it. EDIT: if you do then post another one, and see if people can get it, and so forth, into perpetuity until the Rapture comes.
I agree. Why don't we turn this thread into other "significant rockets numbers" or something. So if you guess it, you put another one down until somebody guesses yours, or something, maybe, I don't know...yeah.
you know I been a Rox fan for a while and that's not really something you tend to remember if you're not from Houston. though I'm sure Clyde would know =P
So somebody post the answer then come up with another one! Do it before tinman hijacks the thread and we are posting about the number of days Vernon Maxwell spent in County lock-up.
Spoiler The number of Rockets fans at game 7 when we won our first championship and the average attendance of the 1987 season?
Correct, it's actually because it's the maximum listed paid attendance capacity of the Summit/Compaq Center - (the 1987 season was all sell-outs). Though I bet with press-passes etc there were actually 17,000 plus in there. 0.36631944 Just a guess - is this Rafer's shooting %?
16611 Number of fans at the Summit who watched the Rockets win the championship against the Knicks in Game 7 of the 1994 Finals.
