For those that can actually pick up the signal, JVG is on with John and Lance. www.1560thegame.com to listen to the live steam.
Yao has right to say what he wants to. Rockets' bad performance is because of tough schedule. Lack of offense ability rather than lack of energy. Defense won pistons. Rafer is a good pg. His bad shooting is hurting the rockets now. But, it is not his own problem, the whole team' shooting is bad.
"If they set up a shotclock in my house, I think there would be a lot of shotclock violations." Had to listen to get the background on that, but that was hilarious. I love listening to Van Gundy. There were definitely some frustrating moments, but I just have the utmost respect for him. Great insight and wit. I liked some of his comments about the point guard situation. He his praise for Rafer, but also conceded that Rafer's shooting in the playoffs was a problem. Said Mike James gets a bad rap as a guy who likes to shoot, but he would have a lot of value for the Rockets in the playoffs when a team focuses on your top guys.
because he's thinking about what he's going to say before it actually comes out of his mouth. Tmac should do it more often.
He also mentioned that he could see the Rockets packaging 2-3 players to get one really good one before the trade deadline. I like the idea of that.
Thanks to the op for letting us know this was on. I missed most of it I think, but I did get to hear him talk about the PG situation and the delicate balance of not enough to too many players for the same position.
