Sitting here eating my favorite lunch at Jake's on Chimney Rock, and Raheel (sp?) just finished setting up for the afternon show (other dudes, sean and John, I think, never catch the afternoon show) to do a remote here. Just thought I'd share. As he left, we exchanged a 'No Layups!', but didn't find a moment to discuss how that theory is in shambles as far as the Rockets are concerned lately.

How does their Philly compare to Delaware Subs here in Austin, or Texadelphia... I like Delaware's the best. DD
I've never had Delaware Subs, but it blows away Texadelphia's, and I used to think Texadelphia made a pretty good cheesesteak beforehand. Next time you're in H-town, I'll take you there. I've got a hankerin' for it, anyway, and I need an excuse to drive that far to get something to eat.
damn, i forgot delaware's. that is some tasty stuff. i really like the tavern's (the houston one) too.
I used to like Texadelphia... but it's really not even close enough for me to go back there anymore. Haven't had a Delaware.
I have been going there for years (way before the renovation/expansion), easily the best kept secret in town. Not to mention much more tolerable these days with the no smoking ban in effect. Will you guys be holding a show there regularly or is this just a one off thing? I would love to catch you there some time.
just got back from jakes... their cheesesteaks are way better than texadelphia's, no doubt. never had one from delaware subs, but their italian sub is awesome
Really? I mean really? The stations been up for a year now. It's where John & Lance went from 610. I will say that most of the show is sub-par afterward, and those r****ded rajin cajun commercials have almost made me quit the entire station. I'm not sure what kind of inside joke it is to keep airing those, but if I get irritated, you're done, because, like most a.m. listeners, I only switch when I get irritated.
Tell me more, kind sir. What are the shows that are sub-par? And what is Ragin Cajun? Do they let you ride crawfish there?
I actually enjoy Ken Hoffman's reviews on fast food, and even his outtakes, but he is meh to awful on the radio. Go to Memphis if you want to talk WWE. I, personally think that Raheel is a complete idiot. Absolutely nothing substantial other than what he did in Hollywood when he was a waitress. I've seen his type before, and he will bail off to wait at an L.A. diner soon enough. Oh, and by the way Raheel, my college girlfriend now recruits for those shows so, you just let me know. Her name is Jodi Thomas and she can be found on my idiot defunct myspace site below. Regardless, the station is going entirely on John & Lance's coattails, and if they don't think they are losing listeners by the week with their current shenanigans, they are about to get a rude awakening.

You wonder how people think that others don't find them annoying, when it's really like who doesn't? They think they're being entertaining and you're just thinking "next".
