Didn't see this posted, so lock if so. Anybody catch the MSNBC special on Timothy McVeigh last night? Pretty chilling piece of American history. Based on some of the rhetoric and anger expressed these days, it seems like we have a segment of people stoking the fires inside of nuts like McVeigh. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36633900 I'm sure they will re-run it.
If you've never read Gore Vidal's interviews and associated essays regarding McVeigh, I urge you to do so. Very, very interesting, and (naturally) superbly well written.
Yeah I saw it. I just hope that enough folks saw the horror to speak out and catch these lunatics before something bad happens again. Like that crazy Christian group in MI. It was tips from other militia groups and infiltration from a member of another militia that helped feds catch them
Saw some of it. Pretty interesting stuff. I don't remember the bombing personally because I was roughly 6 months old, so I got the opputunity not only to understand the event, but get inside McVeigh's head.
