Come on, there are 15 games left, and we have guys that need playing time.

There is no reason that Chase and Jordan Hill should not be seeing at least 20 minutes a game every game to help them develop.

Let Hayes and Battier play far less, you know what they can do, find out what others can do.

I keep looking the box score and Chase is getting like 8 minutes a game, and still playing fairly well, it is mind numbing of this staff to be playing Battier and Ariza so much...

Pick one....if you are going to play Ariza, fine...then sit Shane....but Budinger...100% should be playing...same with Hill.

As good a GM as DM is, there are times you need to sit your coach down and say....ok, let's take a look at the future.....play the young guys, this year is over.

    That time....has come !

When there are only 5 games left, they might do that. 15 games are a lot.

You try telling guys like Scola, Battier and Hayes to give up on the season to help develop the rookies.

Not "giving up" the season. You can play more young guys and let them play to win.

Cuz RICK ADELMAN knows NOTHING ABOUT developing players.

He's done such a terrible job in years past.

    DaDakota know much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't give up just yet but it does not hurt to give the young guys 20 minutes a night. It does not bother me if the team does not make the playoffs. What will be the pick in draft if they don't make the playoffs?

Still 15 games. Rockets will fight for the 47-48 wins.

WOW...we lose one game and its time to tank for 15 games...wrong. San Antonio has a killer schedule. We still got a shot until we are 5 games out with 5 games left buddy. Then we develop.

Not tank...develop, be realistic, this team is probably NOT going to make the playoffs, play the guys that will be part of the future, get them some time on the floor, rest guys that you know what they can do....

Play to win, but with the younger players, and if you lose...so what? Higher draft pick.

Sometimes you just have to do what is right for the franchise...

They are tied for the 13th-14th spot with the Grizzlies. If the Rockets keep losing they have a small chance at taking the 12th spot from the Hornets.

If the Rockets manage to beat the Trailblazers current 0.594 record and knock them out of the playoffs, the Rockets would drop to 19th draft pick, due to Milwaukee, Charlotte, Miami, and Toronto having worse records as playoff teams. That's a huge drop from the top half to the bottom half of the lottery.

Next year has already started, but apparently Rick Adelman did not get the memo !!

Come on Rick your coaches and you have already gotten your extensions....good job....now.....find out what you have when you REALLY have a contender.

    Play the young guys !!!!

The Rockets' lottery pick needs to be as high as possible.

    DD,
Jordan Hill is already playing 26 minutes in his last game. Adelman needs to give him at least 30-40 minutes, if they want to focus even more on development and lose some more games.

I'm going to go ahead and say Rick Adelman knows more about basketball than me, so I'll just roll with who he goes with.

Well there is a good reason that Hill should start any ways...

Me too, but there are times when coaches get caught trying to win every game that a GM needs to step in and go....uh...hold on their pardner.

We really want Brandon Roy.....oops......old thoughts.....but been burned before....

Time to play it smart !

I never saw a team to tank when they still have a hope to make the playoffs.

For us (fans), it may be just a game. But for those players, it is their career. I cannot see why they want to tank.
