Actually, Microsoft has three products on the list. At least they have the XBox, right? Not to be left out, Apple has two stinkers in there, too.

Gotta agree about Facebook. I used to enjoy checking it every now and again because it was a place to keep up my friends that was actually sane. Now it's like one big, living, breathing myspace bulletin.

Check out the link. There's detailed write-ups on each disappointment. I just put the list because it's a fairly long read.

I disagree about the format war. I'm actually loving it. It's caused the studios(especially Sony and Disney) to get their act together and provide top notch video and audio on the majority of titles. Prices on players are dropping rapidly. And Buy One Get One Free promotions for movies are becoming almost routine at this point.

Eventually it would be nice obviously to have one HD format, but in the meantime, early adopters are being rewarded thanks to this war.

    definitely.

but people are getting punished if they don't have both formats because they may not be able to get the movie they want.

Also, lets say one format completely dies out...what about the poor b*stard who had the other?

i hope something new comes and beats both of the current formats. It's just getting old with the BR/HD back and forth garbage

I'll just say this about Vista. It's not as annoying as I had originally thought, but its still darn annoying.

I have had Vista for about year now. The only thing that has annoyed me is some Adobe compatibility issues. Besides that, no complaints.

If or when one format dies, your player and movies will still work. Just because one format dies does not mean that your player and movies will suddenly stop working!

    #15. Amazon Unbox

    Have not used it.

    #14. Municipal WiMax

    Have not used it.

    #13. Social Networks

I agree, these things get old pretty damn quick.

    #12. Internet Security

    LOL! Agree.

    #11. Microsoft Zune

    Have not used it.

    #10. Wireless Carriers

    Agree.

    #9. Office 2007

I am glad I am not the only one that had the same feelings for Office 2007. I hated this new format.

    #8. Apple "Leopard" OS 10.5

    Have not used.

    #7. Voice Over IP

Had service through Lingo and I was very unimpressed.

    #6. The Broadband Industry

Have not really noticed any issues with my broadband but if it is true then it sucks.

    #5. Apple iPhone

    Have not used.

    #4. Yahoo

This is my homepage. I like it more than Google although I use Google for searches sometimes.

    #3. Facebook Beacon

I use Facebook sparingly but I never heard about this. Creepy.

    #2. The High-Def Format War

Have not used and will not use until one format is selected.

    #1. Windows Vista[/QUOTE]

Never liked it when trying it on PCs that had it. It is a resource hog. I am sticking with XP which works fine.
