I hope he hits his books as hard as his basketball practicing so all of that talent doesn't go to waste.
Kid really has a work ethic, something like ex soccer star Davids, has extended lungs or something like that and can run triple as a normal person.
Haha, that's the first thing I thought of too. Was anyone else extremely annoyed by the background music? It's a fluff news report, not a Disney movie.
He definitely handles the ball well in drills as well as in a couple of the game clips. I'd have to see more of him running basic staples of organized basketball like pick and roll, shooting off a screen, penetrating and kicking it out, playing D, etc. passing before I claim he's going to be a future star. Like one poster said previously, he's got a lot of other roadblocks like grades and hanging with the wrong crowd to navigate past. The kids does seem to want to keep expanding his skill level. I've seen some kids with his talent at that age and because they were so good as compared to their peers they slacked off and eventually the talent level of their peers caught up to their level.
Pass the dang ball, you selfish kids. Pass it. I don't care if you're Kobe or Chilcutt. Get your teammates involved. Passing it is fun.
