I was a sophomore in high school, & unbeknownst to me at the time, was about to experience the best summer of my life.
It was The birth of Toyota Center... These newbies and their lack of Houston sports, nobody cares if you went to Junior High or not...
I was a junior in HS, and I got completely wasted for the first time. I was sitting there drinking a Michelob, when I fell forward and lost all feeling in my body. Truly thought I was going to die. My final count for that night was: 18 Smirnoffs 2 shots of Goldschlager 1 Jack Daniels Hard Cola 2 Michelobs All in less than 2 hours. Obviously not to the day, but close to it
ooo someone had a less-than-memorable junior-high experience. (also, for people that went to school after the 80's, we call it "middle school". it's like now calling a flight attendant a stewardess )
I was a sophomore in high school, and I honestly don't remember a thing from my sophomore year of high school. My freshman, junior and senior years had memorable parts, but there's nothing I can recall from my sophomore year. I looked up movies that were released around March 2003. I do know that I saw Agent Cody Banks - for no good reason at all. I went with 3-4 friends. We walked out. We then ate at Han's Mongolian BBQ, with a few hours left before they closed. It's a partial buffet, but all the employees were standing around and glaring, just waiting for the gotdang kids to leave. So, noticing this, we took our sweet time; got seconds, thirds, and fourths. One of the friends was the eventual nose tackle for the football team, so he was able to do most of the damage himself. We hung around until their usual closing time. We were the only ones in the restaurant for about 2.5 hours. I think it was on a Sunday. That's the only thing I can remember. My friends and I being assholes. I always called it intermediate school.
