10 things I love about the 2002-2003 Rockets

In no particular order

1. Steve Francis - no one can stop him period. A double team can't even stop him. He is a stud. A true superstar according to HP's definition. And we pretty much got him for free.

2. Cuttino Mobley - I thought his offense was pretty much topped out last year, but he is playing even better this year. He is also playing crazy defense. My favorite rocket. 100% hussle and belongs in the all-star game. He is way better than Wally World. Did you see that alley oop at the end of the half.

3. Yao Ming - A big guy that is skillz and is humble also. He knows that he needs to improve and does so every game. Will continue the tradition of great Houston big men.

4. Defense - Nobody seems to notice how good our defense is this year. People bring up the Pacers game but the Pacer only shot around 43% that game. We got Cato playing well, the Hawk, Cat, and EG. This team did a complete turnaround on defense this year. I love it because defense wins championships. Not assists, not passing, not post play, not rebounds, defense wins championships.

5. Cato - the catomic bomb. The guys is playing awesome. Hustling, getting rebounds, intimidating the crap out of opposing players. If he keeps this up, he will be almost worth the money the rocks are paying him.

6. EG - He started off slow but played well this last game. He is only 20 years old is going to get better. He is a great shot blocker and got him for three 1st rounder we didn't need.

7. Hawk - I think he is a better defender than Mario was. He plays like Mario except he is quicker. I think he is the best defender on the team right now. Another diamond Rudy and company found from nowhere.

8. KT - my second favorite player on the team. Has shown he can play the 3. He has a killer post game and is great on defense. He improves every year.

9. Depth - all the players on the roster except for Collier can play. We don't have any chilcuts, bryce drews, or Tabaks on this squad. Everyone of them except for Collier can play.

10. watching them - I get to see every single game(league pass and tivo) including 12 at the laptop( thanks to my loving and understanding wife). And I will love every second of it even when things aren't going our way. I love the Rockets period.
