Well coming up to 10 games in, I was wondering who everyone likes outside of T-Mac & Yao of course.

I'm only going to add the rotation players in at this time. V-Span, Novak, Bonzi, Sura, & Lucas will be under other.

Maybe 20 games in to the season they will get some playing action & we can add them to the mix. As of right now we have no idea what they can bring to the table so I thought I'd just leave them out.

    Anyways Here We Go:

    Rafer Alston

    Shane Battier

    Luther Head

    Kirk Snyder

    Juwan Howard

    Deke

    Chuck Hayes

OTHER - V-Span, Sura, Bonzi, Novak, Lucas, & Scotty

EDIT: Opps! I Fergot Scotty, we will just add him on Other...

I gotta go w/ Chucky Hayes. I LOVE watching him play.

Battier, simply, w/o him, I don't think we'd have the record that we have now.

And I always like Deke. He's just a funny dude. Everything about him is just comedy.

    Tied between Hayes and Battier.

I really miss Chuck now that the teams has been without him for a couple of games.

It’s a toss up for me between Hayes and Head.

Their production relative to the minutes they play and their role while on the floor is excellent. Luther is making almost half his threes and averaging about the same number of points as Battier in 14 less minutes a game. Hayes is making over 60% of his field-goal attempts, averaging over twice as many rebounds as Battier (in 16 less minutes a game), while offering the exact same “intangibles”.

This is a really tough one. In terms of character, Deke stands out. I really like Chuck and Shane. But then I like Luther too. You can't complain about Padgett. Kirk Snyder might not be the brightest, but he plays hard. Rafer has toned down his game to fit the team and he's bringing good intangibles. They are all good guys. No knuckleheads on this team. Everything is wells ;)

In terms of right now, Hayes. In term of potential somewhere down the line, I would have to say Snyder.

Looks like we are pretty screwed if either Yao or Tracy gets hurt.

You can say that for most teams. Cavaliers without Lebron, Lakers without Kobe, Spurs without Duncan, Heat with Wade or Shaq (got blown out last night by the mighty Knicks)

That's why they make the big bucks. They are franchise players

Seems to me like the Spurs and Heat have guys outside of their big 2 who can at least create something. Spurs have Manu and Finley to help Duncan and Parker. Heat have Walker and Payton. Not that those guys are great but they sure can do more on the offensive end than Battier and Hayes. We really need Bonzi.

You forgot the obvious answer: Novak and V-Span are the two most beloved players on the Rockets if this BBS is any indication.

They were last seen curing cancer and inventing alternatives to fossil fuels while languishing on the bench, inexplicably.
