The thing that hurt us in the lakers series the most was that players would get run off the three point line and guys didn't have a clue what to do. Idk if Tucker will be back but there is no way that tucker and covington can be on the court together if they don't get a third creator next to James and Russ together. No EG is not that guy. We badly need a wing or 4/5 that can create a shot for himself. Or have lineups where mostly everyone can dribble pass and shoot i.e. miami, denver.

I don't think EG is one dimensional. One dimensional would be someone like Steve Novak.

If you're referring to PJ and Covington they knew what they were supposed to do and they did it fairly well. The two biggest problems were the lack of planning to counter when a double team comes at Harden and the fact that Russ couldn't help himself from either taking wide open 3s (they were wide open for a reason) or turning the ball over. This is the same system that almost beat GSW a few years back but the biggest flaw is that we replaced a hyper efficient point guard for a non hyper efficient point guard.

Tucker will be back at least for next season because he still has one year left.

You're confusing off ball movement and "mostly everyone can dribble pass and shoot". Miami and Denver have plenty of players that can put the ball on the floor, yes, but both offenses still rely on at least one great passer/play maker to make it work while the other players are cutting/moving around. Denver's offense is either putting Murray in a PnR or iso situation for him to shoot or putting it into the Hands of Jokic to pass to the open man. Miami's offense involves a lot of the things Houston does where the guard penetrates inside and kicks the ball out and find the open man for a 3. We have that in Harden and to a certain extent Russ, however, the offense don't really call for the other players to move around a lot. That stagnation can and has killed us.

All that said I do agree with you that we need another player than can handle the ball and score as needed.
