    The only player on this with freethrows so far against the Lakers is Martin, with 11.

    Martin is great at drawing fouls, but no Lakers has fouled us on the shot besides Martin?

    Martin is still the only guy on the Rockets with a freethrow.

    Hard to believe the Lakers didn't foul any other of our players on the shot.

    In 4 quarters of playing time, 48 minutes specifically. The only guy to get freethrows is Kevin Martin.

    Now we're on OT, with the potential of having the whole game with just one guy with free throws.

    I'm sure some record is about to be broken here.

    Has to be a record, for only 1 player on a team to get FTs all game.

    Adding the fact we had OT too, is unbelievably stupid.

    NBA is def doing a good job in making sure officiating is fair :rolleyes:

    Are the Rockets soft or do the officials only watch yellow jerseys? The Rockets had to lose within the spread.

    I def don't think refs were an issue. I thought we got away with a lot of fouls on Kobe quite honestly.

    Instead, this stat tells me how few guys we have that can create their own shot. Aaron has never been a guy who gets to the rim and finishes well in the lane, he's a shooter. Kevin Martin gets his FTs in the first 3 quarters by flailing and flopping around. A step towards the playoffs is Morey bundling a ton of our assets and getting a wing who can simply create. A semi-closer, not a superstar, but a guy who can get his own offense at the end of a game.

    We have players that can make plays offensively through guile (Martin, Scola). Not enough players that can make plays through sheer physical talent.
