wouldve has Gasol there instead of Beasley. It is tough for Gordon but boy does he have some competition in front of him in Rose and Mayo
beasley making the first team is a joke he has had a good rookie season but not as good as Gasol, Love and Gordon who all the superior seasons IMO compared to him. clearly the teams aren't restricted to voting by position since there are 2 PGs on the first team. Beasley may be that double double machine in the league soon he has shown some flashes but his rookie season was quite frankly a complete bust when compared to all the hype he was receiving before hand. Compare that to Rose, Mayo and Westbrook who all lived up to the hype that was placed on them.
Yes, anybody who even looks at the stats can see this. Beasley has 13 pts and 5 rebs, how's that better than the 11 pts and 9 rebs Love has? Love got robbed, plain and simple....
Fantastic rookie class, it would be considered one of the best ever if Beasley wasn't such a disappointment.
I had Beasley all year on my fantasy team. It was so frustrating. Beasley's +/- relative to his teammates was pretty terrible, and the Miami coach Spolestra must have hated him or something, because any reason he got Not to play Beasley was used. Now I'm not going to say he's good for the team or not, cause I'm not a Miami fan or watch them closely enough. But I watched Beasley when he got a chance to play. Here's what I noticed: great hands great shooter for forward total black hole on offense Beasley would follow 20-7 games with 4 pts, because he wouldn't get minutes. He only got big minutes when Marion was down, then Haslem down, then Moon down. All 3 of those guys played more than Beasley when they were healthy. I guess it's because he doesn't defend or something. Also, maybe cause Miami had terrible bench scoring so the coach wanted to keep Beasley for bench fire power.
