The Jazz are 3-0. Are we mentally weak? How can this be addressed?

ATW, Kevin Martin in that second to last possession in regulation should give you the answer.

You raise a good point. Millsap isnt near superstar level (he is more of a Scola type player) but he killed us in overtime. I dont know what it is with this team. They are just too soft.

Millsap is clutch. He destroyed the Heat earlier in the season too.

Only real closer we have is Aaron Brooks. Guy has guts to take last shot and make them and he can go one on one from outside. Problem with him is he tries to go inside and expects to get a call, which he will never get at crunch time. He is still a good outside shooter in crunch time. I think he likes being in big moments.

I don't think anyone else in this team can be consistent closer. Kevin Martin is just not good with one on one situations.

After Yao, AB is our go to guy.

I think Rick Adelman is a great coach, but I was wondering why he did not take a timeout and adjust, because they kept going to Millsap and it was evident that we were not adjusting to it at all. Is there any way to see Adelman's career overtime record?

We can address this by making sure we are winning at the end of the 4th quarter.

Because he didn't you know, drive, draw contact and ice two free throws the posession earlier. Face it, martin played great down the stretch - the reason we lost we because of millsap.

And the reason Millsap was a problem was because of Scola.

op asked if team is mentally weak. you state the obvious. for whatever reason he blew it when it counted. Make that shot and win the game. fumble and choke we lose. Period. Rockets are not executing when it matters the most. Thats how strong they are mentally right now.

And the reason Scola was the problem was because we don't have a legitimate defensive big man on this team.

we give up the lead in the 4th for our OT games and lose our momentum.

We're 6-8 in overttime since Adelman became coach:

You can adjust the filter for his previous coaching stops (there were some partial seasons for him, though).

When Brook is your best option for the last shot you're in trouble.

Well, look on the bright side - we're not very good in regulation, either!
