I said I know they were on the list, my complaint is they should have been much much higher. And Silence of the Lambs at 124?? Ridiculous. That's a Top Twenty movie easily. It's just overall a terrible, lazy list. You can't find a spot for Young Frankenstein or Holy Grail on a list of 500?? List is invalid.
It wan informal poll in 2008. It's not like someone sat down and meticulously created a list, carefully picking each film and making sure not to overlook any movie. They did a top 300 list again last year and it looked completely different, which it shouldn't if it were legitimate, but given the context of how they made the list isn't surprising. No need to get bent out of shape about it IMO.
257, though I would do better. Honestly never heard of some of these movies. Not a great list, some movies have no business there. But not a terrible list overall.
305 - how the hell would anyone think Point Break or the Jar Jar Binks Star Wars prequel deserves to be in any top 500 is beyond me. Still, it was a fun quiz and includes enough legitimate entries to remind you pf which classics that you still need to ser.
