does "points per possession" mean that player's points per isolation?

Cut the guy some slack - he has to be one of the oldest players in the league when you factor in how many long playoff seasons he has had.

It seems like an isolation play is generally a less efficient play than virtually any other type of play - For context I would like to see who tops the list as efficient Pick and Roll players(both screener and player with the ball), who knocks down most weakside shots when the ball swings from the strong side, etc. Comparing players by Iso posessions isn't really all that valuable because some offenses(GS comes to mind) plays very little iso ball in general so who cares if they have a terrible iso player if they have players who are better suited to the types of offensive shots they like to take.

Also, let's note that an iso with 19 seconds on the clock is a lot different than an iso with 3 seconds on the clock. Not all isos are different and generally the ones late in the shot clock are going to be less efficient shots anyway.

Has anyone done this looking just at the "clutch time" situations? I forget how it's commonly defined...but like looking at isos at end of quarters or game within 5 point and under 5 minutes or whatever. It'd be cool to see that chart also.

Also, are these all half court sets? or are fast breaks/broken plays that end up with a player going 1-on-1 included somehow?

J/w where the numbers are coming from. cool stuff though

Points per POSSESSION. That means it includes turnovers. That also means comparing it to stats that exclude turnovers is not useful.
