Yes, I am 100% sure that a teenager beaten to the ground, surrounded by a gang less than a meter away, who were close enough to stab him 12 times would not have survived being shot 12 times at point blank range. It's not 'righteous' to say that knives are less dangerous than guns, it's common sense, something many Americans seem to lack.
