Anybody have the ability to pull up his numbers for the last 2-3 weeks?

Doesn't seem to be striking out as much.

Anyone else find it odd that Valbuena is at first, Lowrie is at third, and Marwin is playing short?

He hasn't struck out in 15 consecutive PAs, only 1 strikeout in his last 5 games (20 PAs). Only 13 Ks all month of August (with only 2 multi-K games) across 87 PAs. Only 8 Ks (compared to 5BB) in his last 71PAs. Unfortunately his average is only .227 across those 71PAs

I don't get why Valbuena plays 3rd instead of Lowrie. Marwin's glove is superior to both, so I get why he is playing SS.

Does Gomez always lose his helmet running to 1B? Sure seems like it.

I assume you are thinking, Lowrie at SS, Valbuena at 3B and Marwin at 1B. Marwin is a better defensive SS than Lowrie. Marwin and Valbuena are probably a wash at first.

Can't underestimate enough Marwin's impact on the squad. He's been awesome.

Thanks, I didn't know Marwin's glove was that good. I just assumed that Lowrie's natural position was SS. Also, I thought I heard that Valbuena's first time ever playing 1B was ~ a month ago. I wasn't criticizing the decision whatsoever, I was just curious.

Great managing by Hinch in giving Correa some rest. Correa has gotten some dingers the past week or so. Rest up for the stretch run.

Chance to win a road series of three games or more for the first time since late April. Haha that stat is ridiculous considering our record.

Can't score 4 runs a game for almost 15 games in a row.

Last two games, three innings of 4 runs or more.

    baseball is weird.
