Jayson Tatum is a 6'8 scoring small forward from St. Louis. He will be entering his senior season at Chamiade (same school Brad Beal attended)then will join coach K at Duke. Tatum is a competive gifted scorer who will be a top 3 draft pick in 2017.

He has Dirk's fade-away, what more do you need to be a star? Really impressive skillset for youngster...

I watched him play a couple of times. He's not extremely athletic, fast or long, but he's super skilled for someone his age. Plays under control, but occasionally with a monster dunk out of nowhere. He has an amazing midrange game, but his 3-point shots need some work. As a good shooter, he should get it down in no time.

The best comp I can come up with is either Paul Pierce or a much shorter Dirk.

He won't be a #1 pick, which is usually reserved for someone with uber athleticism or potential. He will be a pretty good player in the NBA, maybe an all-star even. But he doesn't fit the #1 pick profile at all.
