Anybody else hoping Connor McGregor becomes a pro wrestler after his MMA career? This guy was born to be a pro wrestler.
What makes you think he is any less qualified than then the ex college football players the WWE recruits year round? Plus I think the product is progressing more towards the MMA/strong style... I mean Brock is so over because he is legit. I will be surprised if mma fighters don't start to think of the transition in the future, heck Rampage already tried.
Crowd will make up their own mind. Lesnar is super over right now, and UT is at a point where there IS no heel or face UT. Just UT the legend.
Potentially. Interesting to note that Sting was initially flagged to be involved with Reigns against the Wyatt's and then it changed to Ambrose. No real reason has been given and Sting hasn't been mentioned. Although if Sting DOES cost UT the match - the Lesnar/UT goes unresolved. One month after they just left Rollins/Lesnar unresolved by bringing in UT in a circumstance which would be similar to the proposed one here. Could lessen the impact to do something so similar so soon. I'm probably overthinking it. The idea of the Sting UT match really doesn't get me too amped up tbh. I'd rather see them book Cena - Taker.
I never said he wasn't qualified to train to become a pro wrestler, I said that saying he is born to be a wrestler is an overstatement. Read before you reply to a post of mine thanks. I know it is hard to follow all of my individual posts but I've been a proponent of MMA guys turning to pro wrestling long before MMA fighters turns to pro wrestling was fashionable. From what I've read they change the plan because they felt they already had enough big names to sell the PPV, so they will wait till they can find a third Wyatt, then have Sting get involved turning into 3 on 3. If I were them I would have a hot Lesnar/Taker finish and have Sting be a surprise at the PPV. Also agree, I am no longer interested in Taker/Sting because there is no way they put Sting over and being 0-2 at Mania is a slap in the face.
Not going to be able to watch Summerslam since I'll be at work, but if anyone knows of a stream for the NXT show, I would much appreciate it.
