    Unless D-Mo's back hasn't healed(or he has another season-ending injury), this is a no-brainer.

I am curious as to who you consider to be a "real" power forward. Not trying to talk crap or anything, but both players are solid, and at the very least rotation players on a contender. As long as D-Mo recovers fine from his back surgery (and that is not at all a given), and he progresses like he should (again not a given) I honestly can't think of maybe but 5-7 power forwards I would rather have.

I voted DMo, but I was high on Jones after the first quarter of last season really. I don't know what it is about Jones, but it looks like he never seems to get it, he always looks confused.

DMo is a little more polished at this point, and that might be due to playing time, i agree he was our best post player last year. Hes a very good position defender. He lacks athleticism which Jones has, but his height makes up for it.

The power forward position is stacked in the NBA, and for me it comes down to defense.

I really wish Jones didn't get injured last year. I think it would be a much closer poll. Even with his play in the playoffs it boils down to what have you done for me lately and well DMo did more.

So, like he said, he had a very nice playoffs?

At least we didn't have to watch LMA completely abuse him like we did in the 2014 playoffs.

Really tough question. I have no clue. Guess we'll have to wait until the season starts to see who McHale chooses.

I ended up voting for Jones, back surgery ain't no joke, lot of people here don't realize how serious it is. We'll be lucky if he's ready to go at the start of the season.

Dmo for sure. Really he reminds me of a center, say for a stop gap for Howards replacement. He has the better skills and not just athletic ability. He can shoot 3s, rebound, pass, post. His defense is getting better, I just wish he would block shots better. With his footwork though his fundamentals will definitely get better. If his back holds up.

Jones has his natural instincts and athletic abilities, but I don't see it long term.

I like Jones when he goes strong and looks to finish with two hands. And when he hustles hard on the offensive glass.

Unfortunately that is all too rare for him.

For the most part he falls in love with the J, or moreso the cute dribble move in iso that goes alright - until he gets into the trees and shoots some off balance, leaning back, fading away, low % junk prayer shot.

    Bad timing on poll?????????????????????????????????????????????

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

A poll is a poll is a poll is a poll. A poll is meant to measure what the people think RIGHT NOW. Not at some other time.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL at bad timing on the poll.

The only good time for a poll regarding DMo and Terrence is when Terrence is healthy and starting and DMo is coming off the bench. You can only have a poll when Terrence is going to win it.

Come on man. This is real life. It's the start of the 2015 season. Even most of the past TOFs have converted to reality by now and realize that DMo helps this team more than Terrence does when both players are healthy.

I love DMO and think he can be a very solid player maybe even it up 17/8 numbers but jones for some reason to me feels like he's going to have a breakout season coming up. I have a feeling this guy is going to surprise all of us, I read somewhere about 6 weeks ago that jones was working out everyday and trying to get stronger so he can be at his best this upcoming season.

Another reason why I think jones will perform better then we expect is because its his contract year. The better he plays the more money he gets. Plus he's coming off a very injury plagued season so that should also give him motivation. He was playing very well before the lung injury of he can get back to that play with harden and Lawson he should be getting a lot of easy looks around the hoop.

I'd look first to see whether Ty Lawson figures to be the long-term answer for the secondary playmaker. And if he is, it's a matter of figuring out which big(s) have the best chemistry with him.

Jones, I think, will benefit the most from Lawson's passing. But if Jones can show he's the right big to play beside Lawson and of course Howard, the Rockets may bet on him as their PF for the DH era. Then, he'll likely be the priority for the Rockets over DMo.

But if the chemistry does not seem to be there, the Rockets may start giving Capela and maybe even Harrell more court time to see if they can take advantage of Lawson's playmaking. Then, the priority switches to DMo.

With Donatas, it's a matter of repeating last year's performance to show it wasn't a fluke. If he can show consistency and of course health, he'll get the contract he deserves from the Rockets or some other team.

Didn't vote. Keep them both. They are part of a very good team.

As CD or Rudy T.... or Van Gundy used to say, "You can't teach height."

    You also can't teach athleticism.

I voted DMo but one thing Jones does really well is clean up the garbage around the rim.

They both are garbage at the line.
