    Secondary question: Is anyone else seriously hoping that both guys win their respective party's nomination?

    Sanders. He's not a complete joke despite being an outright Socialist. If the only two options were Sanders and Trump, I'd vote for Sanders 100 out of 100 times.

    Walker
    Rubio
    Cruz
    Perry
    Carson
    Huckabee
    Graham

    Count me in!

    I don't think either will win their nomination.

    However Sanders is sincere about running for President and serious about his agenda (whether you agree with it or not). Trump just wants attention and likes the fact he can say whatever he wants.

    Sanders = Howard Dean
    Trump = Herman Cain

    Get on Sander's Twitter and read what he stands for then tell me what is funny about his candidacy.

    Socialist schmocialist....

    But I think Sanders is a realist, what he cares about is returning the political narrative back to something that makes sense for the most people. It's lost in this PR/PAC commercialized world where flag pins mean more than voter rights.

    Talking about the candidates' likelihood of actually winning their respective party's nominations.

    Neither has a snowballs chance. But Trump is just trolling because he loves the attention. Sanders has a real vision of a more democratic nation.

    Actually I don't think we can accomplish Sanders goals unless the working class and particularly the Tea Party/Trump folks start doing something constructive with their anger. Bernie is like the electoral expression of Occupy Wall Street or a return to day when the Democratic Party represented more strongly the little person. Many Dems, especially young folks are realizing that the corporate/ Wall Street Democratic Party wing, of the Clintons and Obama will at best just help them around the edges.

    Trump supporters, often poor white working folks, are confused but starting to realize that they have been taken. Their anger was cleverly diverted to the Koch/Fox News created Tea Party, but is now also directed at the elite GOP control. and through Trump sort of directed at the old party elite.

    The Trump/Tea Party supporters are starting to realize that the top folks who are mostly Republicans -- billionaires as Bernie calls them--, don't really care that much about gays, guns, primitive Bible reading, simplistic market ideology, race, immigrants. They however are happy to fan any possible division if it fans hatred of government to the extent that it keeps taxes low on their type of income.

    Isn't this a kind of ridiculous question?

    There's no doubt that Trump would bring America crashing to the ground and fill his pockets further using his time in office. We know this.

    Sanders is a socialist running as a classic democrat capitalist. All he's suggesting is exactly what the democratic party (via Roosevelt, the most popular president ever) achieved right after the great depression. He might be the only candidate who won't resort to war to get a recovery going for everyone but the top 10%.

    Do you guys really want another war? More cuts to social services and cuts to high income tax brackets? Or are you thirsty for more inequality and less social mobility? YES IT WOULD HAPPEN. YOU CAN'T ACT SURPRISED ANYMORE. Get real. The country is sliding into the red zone. Ferguson will look like a walk in the park if Trump or any of those psychos get into office.

    The next time the opportunity to veer away from this 40 year assault on employees comes up, it won't be through a ballot box. PLEASE wake up. The only reason anyone takes him seriously as a candidate is because owners of media companies - practically a handful of people - see a tremendous opportunity to further hijack your brains and your taxes.

    If Trump wins he should select Carson as his Vice president. 25 percent of black votes would be enough for him to win in a landslide.

    I didn't vote...at least not yet.

    Who's candidacy do I take more seriously? Well, in terms of whom do I think is not a joke then it would be Sanders.

    In terms of whom do I think is more likely to make it to the general election, I would say Trump...which by definition makes him more of a serious contender...but one I could probably never vote for...even vs Sanders or Biden.

    But I WOULD vote for him if his opponent is Hillary. Trump is full of it, but he's not stupid enough to leave TOP SECRET CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS on an unsecured server that probably means our enemies/rivals had access to. She's the biggest joke of them all but the sycophants out there just keep voting for her like lemmings.

    As a little guy conservative you probably vote for whites only no matter how much it is against your self interest, so I can see you thinking this. However, most Blacks aren't that dumb.

    80%+ people here are afraid of being nude and are awkward in sexy settings. There is a direct correlation between this and understanding the mass groups of 20 somethings who see themselves with no affiliation. Don't think it's understood yet that there will be a record turnout of voters in the 18-34 demo's, and traditional blue states will be up for grabs with The Donald as a candidate. They don't view him as the typical crusty old white guy at the country club, and a fiscal revolutionary who says what he delivers.

    Dorks like Bernie will preach a lot of literature from the Stalin era that looks good on paper , but no base for real world application. He absolutely has a 0% chance of getting elected.

    Supporters of al sharpton disagree.

    Supporters for tray von and the chubster killed selling cigarettes with 25 priors disgaree. Life in America is simple - Act a thug and the thug life will get brought to you. I cherish the thug life because I can handle it and take responsibility for my actions. Blacks, especially traditional non voters, will absolutely do a double take if Ben Carson runs alongside the Donald. I would also consider a celebrity who appeals to minorities like Samuel Jackson or Ken Griffey Jr.

    Trump is just bored, and proving to be an honest to goodness jerk. And really spoiled for someone his age. People are saying I shouldn't be shocked, but I am, because Ventura didn't behave this way as a mayor or while running for Governor, and I'd never seen Trump in any kind of serious setting before, so I kind of assumed he'd adjust to the environment given his success and education. And the rationale that he can't be bought is meaningless, because he's exactly the kind of self-centered prick who does the buying.

    Doesn't matter, while black lives matter, those affiliated with that "movement" do not.
