Any estimates on how much a scratch like this on a car would cost to fix?

    Not a whole lot. $100 or so would be my guess.

    Depends. Is the bumper scratch all the way to the plastic? If so you likely have to paint the whole bumper if you want it to look right.

    really? I didn't think it'd be that cheap.


    Its actually not on the bumper. it's on the side of the car opposite of where the gas nozzle would go.

    Painting a bumper costs 300$ so if they buff it then it will be $100-150 or less.

    I have a scratch similar to this one where the paint was scrapped off. Got an estimate for 295 to fix

    The bumper is probably plastic and so they probably won't be able to fix it.

    Thus, I'd say it's going to cost you around $800 to $1000

    If the scratch didnt cut through into the primer then you can just buff it off. You can get an experienced detailer to do that for you.

    How about you show us a pic of the actual scratch? Both pictures you mentioned are of a bumper. And both of those pictures would require the bumper to be painted. Especially the second one as it looks like it is clearly into the plastic.

    If the scratch didn't get to the metal/plastic of the car then you can have it fixed cheap. Buffing may even do the trick. If it is through the primer and actually to the surface then you will need to have that panel repainted for it to look like nothing happened.

    The car isn't with me. As I said, the scratch looks the exact same as those pictures - just imagine it on the side of the car opposite of where the gas nozzle would go.

    Is $200 a fair estimate price on how much it'd cost?
