He'll end the season in Fresno if I had to guess. Then will go into ST with a chance to win a spot on the big league roster.

There is difference for a hitter and pitcher. I can see how AAA can be good for some hitters, especially free swingers. There are a lot of "AAAA" pitchers in AAA that lack stuff but can locate better than AA. Good experience for a guy who has a track record of high strikeouts to continue working on strike zone and pitch recognition.

Michael Freeman was promoted to Lancaster yesterday. He's the 2nd member of the 2015 draft class to head to the California League.

100%. LHs only had two hits against Freeman in his time with QC (.083 BA). I am convinced he could come up to the big club right now and be successful in that regard.

Appel with a 2.28 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 3.0 K/BB ratio over the last 4 games.

Folty starting for atl today. Has already given up 2 solo shots in 2 innings work.

The earlier Luhnow gets rid of you, the more convinced he is of your future lack of success.... that being said, he could be wrong, but at this point I wouldn't have seen a role for Folty as a starter anyways.

That's awesome, I truly hope he's figured it (something?) out. Going back a bit further, last 10 AAA starts: 58.1 IP, 51 H 51K:17BB, 1.17 WHIP, 2.48 ERA.

Another shot in another innning, this time a 2 run hr.

Never felt confident in this guy, when he was up with the big club. Great job Luhnow.

He is going to end up as a reliever, probably a closer

Only about a month left in the minor league season. Good chance they don't promote him.

I think it is quite a feat Moran is scorching the ball. At this point you want his confidence to grow some more. Leave him at AA and promote him next season. As it is, he hasnt dominated pitching for more than a month and a half. But all is looking well.

Will need better control and a better off-speed pitch to have consistent success there.

MLB hitters can catch up to 100 if they know it's coming.

I think the best hope is you see Moran and Reed kick ass the rest of the year for Corpus, kick ass in ST, kick ass in Fresno to start the year, and be in a position to help the big club sometime in May/June next year.

Lefties probably have an inherent advantage... But even he realized he couldn't rely solely on heat. Just the threat of his avg slider kept hitters honest and made his fastball more lethal.

I could see them non-tendering Carter... And have an open competition with Reed and an attempted conversion of Tucker

Michael Feliz with a hell of a start for Corpus.
