    All shoes are made from the same materials, sewed by the same Malaysian kids. If Nike really had a better design it wouldn't take a week to reverse engineer it.

    He should sign with the highest bidder. There's really zero incentive to take less $$ on a shoe endorsement deal.

    Go buy some Adidas shoes for basketball. It is probably mostly marketing, but Nike makes some good bball shoes. The US has pretty good IP laws so it would be hard to do what you are saying.

    Here's hoping nike matches, besides Duncan most Adidas athletes flame out. The technology used in the shoes he wears now isn't utilized so I think he'll have to wear ankle braces. All that being said he'd be the face of the brand, LeBron and K.D. will always be the guys at Nike. If Adidas can give him a solid performance shoe I'm with it, he deserves his own signature shoe, but no more Drew League...

    Didn't Dwight and Derek Rose each get $300M/10 Years like 3-4 years ago? I wonder if this conflicts with his ability to continue to do Foot Locker commercials too.
