Walker, Melo, Gay, Ellis and WB all more efficient WITH more shot attempts then Durant?

I imagine this is for 2014-2015, ie Durant missed more than half the season and played with a significant injury.

If Kobe was healthy enough to play like 40s games, he would need a chart of his own cuz no single player can attempt hero ball more than him and feel shy about it

I'm impressed with Brook Lopez. Nice numbers. pippendagimp, the eFG% of last second shots taken by players who got the ball from Ty Lawson via a pass was 162%.

Dude, at least give proper credit to the person who created this.

    here's the original thread

by the way, "late in the shot clock" means 7 seconds or less left.

Harden has a high percentage because he'll take the good shots, and if there's not a good shot he'll pass it off and leave the teammate to hang dry lol.

Those who are on the right side of the picture are all playing in bad systems. That's why they are forced to take so many late clock shots every game.

That's your take from watching all the games last season? Wow. That's far different than mine. Harden makes those shots because the man is clutch.

This isn't necessarily a good stat. Shows that our offense is pretty stagnate if Harden is averaging more than four late shot clock field goal attempts per game. I mean, its useful to see how well he does in those situations, but I think its more a reflection of bad offense than anything.

Eh, not necessarily. Not every shot towards the end of a shot clock is a bad one.

The stat is both good and bad.

Bad for the reasons you mentioned, but good because it shows Harden's beast-ness. You can't knock his efficiency. He has the ability to be clutch and make difficult shots off the dribble.

With the addition of Lawson (hopefully he sobers up), there will be more balance between the good and bad of this stat.
