Houston Rockets Uniform Design (Double-Slashes and all!)

    Using all the info-to-date posted on this site and with a little help from Microsoft Paint, here's what I think is a good visual representation of this year's home & road jerseys. If I had Photoshop or another higher quality design program to utilize instead of Paint, I'm sure the colors wouldn't be so pixelated, but overall, I think you get the idea of what the uniforms will look like when they are unveiled next month. I realize, of course, that the team name on the front of both the home & road jerseys will be Rockets, not Houston, but I still wanted to show what the jerseys would look like with our city's name displayed on the front, just so you could see both designs side by side.

    Have you see the billboards round town? The front of the jersey will look exactly like that. Red with two silver strips coming up from under the arm and just the R logo on the front.

    PS your stripes are too big or something, on the real jerseys they will start under the arm, circle the sleeve but stop at a point before the top of the shoulder.

    Interesting...Nice to finally have something to work with.

    I read somewhere that the NBA didn't approve puting the logo on the front. They are going to put it on the shorts.

    I don't mind if they don't say Houston or Rockets for that matter. I think the jersey's should be exactly as there are shown on the signs here in Houston. I know they are the Houston Rockets.

    A complete turnaround from one of the worst unis to one of the best. those stripes realy look good on the white unis.

    that may be preferred, but look at it this way....all the dynasties jerseys just say the nickname on the front on both road and home...Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Pistons (when they were at their peak between 87 and 91).

    In fact, the last team to win it all with the city name on the road jersey was the Rockets. and prior to that, it was the 73 knicks

    I honestly thought they'd say Houston.

    Don't you think the team should show some hometown pride? If the team doesn't, why should the city? And why should its residents shell out the bucks to go see the games? Damn.

    Hei! They are beautifuls. I think the uniforms will be great, and not a deception like with the logo. Our logo is not like we wanted or thought, but the uniform looks very very nice. And the logo in the uniforms will be so much better. Rockets uniforms will be the bests of the league.

    But the "rockets" letters will be like gregtapper puts or something different. And where is the logo? Won't be the logo on the uniforms??

    Supposedly this design was rejected by the NBA, but for those of you who really love the logo on all the billboards around town, this one's for you.

    The ones with the team name look pretty good, but the one with the logo that the league rejected doesn't look like an nba jersey at all... it just looks like some streetball jersey.

    Actually i think this is the accurate design becuz if you really notice for those who saved the cuttino mobley in yall comps.. yall really have to notice the jersey... and the slashes actually go like this guy has drawn them on the jersey... thats an accurate design.. if yall have that picture.. i know you cant see much.. but this the accurate design... YOU REALLY HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION ON HOW THE LINES RUN...
