I found it ironic that the transgender woman (who wants people to accept her for who she is) pops off on the Asian guy about his size.
Haven't watched the last few seasons, but I think I'll watch this season. My first impression from the first episode is that they seem to be trying to hard to have twists and things like that, but I guess we'll see how it goes.
So is this season worth watching? I just finished season 16. Don't think how anyone could top that performance by Derrick last year.
The first couple weeks started fast, but it's back to boring. Spoiler They voted off the people with the biggest personalities to start.
Did Julie (The Host) just call out Clay for being a Football Player at A&M? I don't remember him every telling anyone he did that.
The Dentist reminds me of the kid in the movie Accepted who didn't get in anywhere else, Abernathy. Could be him. I thought even with some errant moves, Austin got he wanted the last two weeks. He seems even keeled, but this twin woman has him by the balls right now and could blow him up. He's holding it in though and with Jeff gone he should be ok as there is no jealousy now. The Black Poker player blew her key pieces of information ( the twins, finding out about the power couple, and the phone booth ) and could have taken total control of the game except for her big mouth blowing all of that out. The White Poker Player is smart, she plays the game, but got over emotional when Austin tried to play her. I like the fact she called him out on his bull****, but at the same time she let that control her moves. And think that weakness will get exploited. Still rooting for Meg, but she's not really a player. The Transgeneder is stepping all over herself, but still alive.
The gay kid is hilarious too. The stuff that comes out of his mouth is brilliant. He's the most aware in the house too. He sees people clearly. I like his chances if he can get on the right side of things.
My favorite player is the dentist who yells at the camera for no apparent reason. It seems like the fix is in for Audry. I mean, she wonders herself why she is still around. The past week kind of sucked. The wrestler & poker player: "This week we're going to lie to the whole house and backdoor redneck asian guy." Jeff: "I don't think they're being honest with us." The wrestler & poker player: "How dare you question our integrity!"
Steve is a loser. It's sad that no one wants to hang out with him. Since he has zero social game, he's going to be out soon.
Started to get interesting with Jeff and the wrestler potentially fighting over the twin, but I guess that angle is now toast. The dentist sounds like the Tasmanian Devil when he talks. Also, can someone post some pics of Jackie please? TIA.
I'm surprised that no one recognized Vanessa Rousso. She was a godaddy girl, she's been all over the poker tour as an analyst and a player, but they all recognize Jeff and Jackie? I had no clue who they were. Anyway, this season sucks so far. The gay guy, meg, the transgender girl, the wrestler, the asian hillbilly, the hot guy (shelli, and the twins). I don't really see anybody playing the game.
Yep, I'm watching. Decent season, at least the people are getting somewhat interesting... though it's surprising how they're letting a few slide so far under the radar. Vanessa was a godaddy girl? ree hee heeeally. I find that hard to believe... but... whatever. She is playing too hard, all while letting Clelli work things from afar as a couple. Too many people not afraid of the power. Also, if Vanessa, who I see more as a muppet and not a godadd is so good with numbers, how did she not see that she's now solidified the other side of the house, and may not have numbers to support her decision. Jackie is pissed, Taz Goldthwait doesn't like Clelli after all the jumping through hoops, Meg is shocked and likes Jason, Steve doesn't fit in with the cool kids...the only hope they have for this working out is if James' obviously man love for clay makes him swing to their side instead of being pissed Vanessa isn't as honest and righteous as she portrays herself (forcefully I might add). Austin is only playing when he's scrambling for his life. Making moves and persuading people are not his strong points. Should be interesting tonight.
