    This story would be much better if Patrick Ewing's name was McCar[r]y.

    Sounds like Ewing instigated it by ominously approaching :p. Maybe McCary knew he was armed. These people sound incapable of concealing anything.

    I want to know what type of gun Ewing had since the author considered the other gun relevant.
