If you could go back in time and bring back one player to our current team, who would it be and why?

My first choice would be Timmy Breaux. But if he's unavailable, then I'd settle for Ralph Sampson.

Horry would fit in perfectly with this current Rockets group.

Maybe. But it sure would be fun watching Draymond Green trying to guard Yao.

(Before anyone says anything, I know they have Bogut too. But their best lineups had Green playing the 5. Also, Bogut wouldn't have been able to guard Yao either)

I mean, if we're talkin' in whatever the best of their prime is/was, I'd probably say Clyde.

That said... Otis Thorpe on this team would be awesome... hard core boards, clean up and defense with a fast break pass that crushes.

Either a healthy Ralph Sampson or Yao Ming. On a second thought maybe Yao Ming, if they front him then it's a Harden/Lawson penetration field day.

Bingo, 1997 1998 Barkley was still decent and could still rebound.

Assuming he is able to stay healthy, either Ralph Sampson or Yao Ming. Otherwise, considering health (including mental), Vernon Maxwell or Sam Cassell.

Yup - obviously Hakeem would be choice number 1 - but here are how I would rank others to add to this team if we can't have dream.

    1. Moses
    2. Ralph
    3. Yao
    4. Elvin Hayes
    5. Otis Thorpe

Yes! Cheap-sign him to a $1 million contract and use the rest to bring in someone with championship experience.

Lol just the thought of Draymond Green guarding Yao during small ball makes me laugh. But the though of the splash bros running around Yao and Dwight makes me cry.

Moses Malone in his prime more so than even Hakeem. I think the new rules with inhibit Hakeem's game.
